Classic small hardware color question!

Hi Chanel lovers,

I tried out some classic double flaps at Chanel boutique a few days ago, and I was quite confused about the hardware options. They showed me a few with silver hardware, and then i asked to see gold hardware. But when the SA bought the classic with gold, i felt it was very gold. So my question is. Does the classic small in black comes with .. maybe light gold hardware too? Thanks for reading.

I bought a black classic flap last year and it had very gold hardware. My SA told me all the balck classic flaps currently come with very gold, while the seasonal flaps (at the moment) are usually light gold hardware.

Thank you! It might still be the case. But i regret I did not ask whether they had the light gold hardware, as I was a little bit confused already.. and my SO was and are always all in for the silver hardware

The silver hardware may look like light gold if the bag is warm tone begie color

Yes some years and seasons classic flap does come with light gold (Champaign) hardware. I actually own one in chevron lambskin. But I have not seen that released for some time.

No. Seasonal colors (just like black) can come in silver, gold, light gold (champagne), black, ruthenium, etc. hardware. it’s like any classic flap. It just depends on what Chanel is releasing this particular season.
