Classic mini or mini adjustable

Hello Chanel experts 👋 I am looking at purchasing my first Chanel bag and would like a mini flap in black. I am trying to decide between the classic mini flap and the classic mini flap with the adjustable chain. I haven't actually tried the classic mini but I know if I wait I'll likely be able to pick one up. The mini adjustable I've tried, pic attached.

My question is, what are the pros and cons of each style and do you have a preference? I don't know how the adjustable straps wear, if they're a better option than the classic mini. For reference I would wear the bag equally cross body and as a shoulder bag I think.

I have a mini with an adjustable chain and a woc without and I much prefer the adjustable chain. I never wear crossbody and I'm short so the adjustable chain is way easier to sit properly on my shoulder.
With the woc, I need to fiddle with a chain clasp or ribbon to shorten the length and it's a bit of a pain.

Depends on if you only buy RV classics. I love my adjustable chains, but I’m also not a “purist”…
What’s not to love about convertibles?!
