Classic Flap or Reissue Owners: If you have a double flap bag, what do you use that pocket for?

This is going to seem like a super random question. If you have a bag with a double flap, do you use that section? If you do - what goes in it and how often do you use it? What fits?

I voted no I don't use that back pocket, but I also don't think it takes up space. I like that it keeps my bag structured and I don't have to worry about the top slowly becoming an upside down V over time.

I usually put cash, coins, credit cards, things like that. Sometimes gum. Pretty useful for me

I voted no, but don't feel it takes up space. I just don't use it, but I love the double flap!

I voted no, I’ve heard over the years a few people say it can cause the stitches at the side to pop.

I used to put a slim pack of tissues or ‘emergency’ cash in there but now I put a stack of clean disposable masks and some single use wet wipes

I don’t use it. Seems like it would cause unnecessary stress on the sides. That’s just me.

This happened to my reissue 227 after too much rummaging haha. Got some oiled thread & tacked it back myself. Can’t even tell there was ever a problem.
