Clasp on crossbody strap broke...any ideas?

  1. Hi everyone!
    Recently the clasp on my handbag strap broke and I am clueless how to fix it. I really like this handbag and am carrying it less now because I can't use it as a crossbody! I attached some pics of the problem. One idea was to solder some metal to the tip and make it wider so it won't pull through but I was told it wouldn't work because the metal wouldn't stick
    :sad:. Please let me know if you have any suggestions!!!

  2. The same thing happened to one of my co workers. She took it to a cobbler who was able to repair it and I would suggest doing the same. Hopefully your cobbler can do something! Keep us posted.
