CITY OR WORK which do you prefer?

Well from one mama of three young boys to another :biggrin: I prefer the City, purely because of the shoulder strap. Of course you can fit more into the Work but I find it's too hard to manage a hand held bag and wrangle kiddos at the same time :smile:

Have you thought about a courier? - lots of mums swear by this bag...

I have both and while I can fit the handles of the Work over my shoulder, I find the it a bit cumbersome. The City is nice because it has the shoulder strap.
The Day is another good option.

I'm constantly amazed by how silverfern manages to squeeze in stuff for 3 boys into a City :biggrin:

IF it's between a Work and a City, I'd pick the City - the shoulder strap makes it a lot easier for you to manage. While the Work holds more, it can be a pain keeping in on your shoulder when you're wrestling with 3 boys.

Courier - great option in that you can wear it messenger-style and it sits on you securely... but I hate how it becomes this large ball when you stuff it up.

I used to use the Weekender when my daughter was younger (and had more stuff) - it was great because it always stayed on my shoulder, even when I was grappling with her, and stayed nicely slouchy and not too bulky, even when I put a lot of stuff in it. I thought it looked great. Now that my daughter is older (and has less stuff), I find that the Day is brilliant.

a bigger bag would be better for your 3 children as I am sure you have to carry quite a lot of stuff!
have you considered day or courier, they are so easy to wear (hands free) and have much room inside =)
or what about the PT? I love the longer handles and longer strap of the PT.

IS PART TIME bigger than the CITY? I'm so not sure which one to get!! WORK, PT, or CITY! Instead of the DAY bags i wanted to start off with a classic bag for my first BAL bag like the WORK, CITY, oR PT! What do you think I should do!

The PT is bigger than the City. My vote's for the Work -- it doesn't have the strap, but it fits more comfortably on the shoulder and can hold more. It's pretty much a bigger version of the City (sans bunny ear zippers). Here are some threads with similar topics, good luck with your decision! :smile:

I prefer the look and style of the CITY bag over the part-time. PT is just too east-west looking for me (I feel like I look fat with it LOL) it looks great on tall skinny gals though.

Work is nice - but it is a pain to keep it on the crook of the arm or shoulder. The strap that is on the city is like gold when you need it!
