Since the holiday season is here I keep thinking about the holiday parties I have to attend and the choices I have to make. I've just changed my job and I barely know anyone. So I am in the dark about what purse to pick for the Christmas party and I am looking for inspiration. Have you picked your purse yet? Stories, tips and ideas are welcomed. Thanks!

I'll go first! My company holiday party is actually tonight and I'm wearing a black cocktail dress with shimmery gold Jimmy Choos and a gold glitter Jimmy Choo clutch. Since there are so many variables involved in deciding what is appropriate and you are new to the company, my advice is to ask around a bit to get a feel for what others are wearing and go from there. Let us know what you decide!

About every holiday party sees me wearing mulberry bayswater clutch wallet, black glossy goat:

Chain allows wearing, if dancing or mingling. And stops me forgetting it places.:p

Also attend smaller gatherings, in homes of friends.
Clutch's size discreetly fits into coat pocket, left in entryways. (mulberry's revamp has made this style too large to be so versatile, now, imo--& sans tree logo:sad:)

Glossy goat leather resists moisture & stains.
Which 1 year's insane bash, with roaming toddlers touching shiny things, proved so well.

Love ccbaggirl89's red clutch, above.
Perfect color for Christmas parties, imo.

Hope helps.

for those of you who go with a clutch to the party... what do you do with it when dancing?? hold it?

i'll be using my chanel cosmetic case as a clutch the whole season, this outfit is for a work party this weekView attachment 3538714

I just wanted to say I love that dress/clutch combo! Very elegant! I don't dance, so I can't help with that...but if I need to step away for a minute I will just leave my clutch on the table or chair.
