Wow! What choices....It really depends. Really, they are so different. Ask yourself, how often are you going to use the watch? Every day? Legibility of the dial is important. I adore Chopard watches. Love the Happy Sport, but if there's more bling, will you wear it more? I have watches with over 2 carats of diamonds, so I know. Sometimes, you just can't wear these. (In theory, you can do what you like, but I think you know what I mean.) Think about these things. If it's possible to spirng for both, you do. Both are fine timepieces, but I really tend to think of Chopard as more fashion-oriented, and Rolex being more timeless

i think rolex is very ah beng. like in singapore the new rich who desperately want to show look look we are rich first go and buy a rolex. i feel it has no class.
go for a cartier. its old rich and oozes class.
rolex islike the monogrammed LV and i think it looks ugly.
i really love cartier especially the santos its so unique. trust me and you have a pearl strand already so if you need a new watch go for it.!!! But if you are a jewellery person and fantasize more about jewellery than watches go for the pearl strand.
At the end of it all you should be 100% satisfied with your buy no matter what others think.
enjoy what you decide finally.


So I guess you changed your mind about Rolex since you wrote this last year!? LOL Rolex is the way to go imo...

sorry did not mean to sound offensive and if so i apologize, I agree its up to each persons taste.
Its just my opinion and i am a very frank person by nature so if i offeneded anyone i did not mean to do so.
I would have advised my sis the same if she asked me,
