^i have the happy beach with the 3 fishies inside...you have to bring it into an authorized Cartier dealer (doesnt have to be a place you bought it from) and they can change the strap for you---usually at no cost as a courtesy tho i guess they could charge you a small fee...

but yah--its sad you cant change the straps yourself

No you can't change it yourself. You even have to swap out the buckle ends. I take it to any watch repair center and have it done. Its simple for them because they have the tools. I have 3 bands so far. I get bored quickly.
