Choosing a wg love bracelet after all! Any other WG owners out there?

Just had to share ...My hubby just made an offer on a pre-owned WG love bracelet! The seller seems wonderfully kind and I get 2 weeks to return.

I hope I didn't talk myself out of RG for the discount on this WG. At first I was only considering RG until I saw some lovely WG model shots here.
But we finally decided that since I have a love of easy going casual style (even if designer causual) the RG might be too dressy to leave on every day for the rest of my life which is truly what I want to do. And with WG I could go camping, play sports, travel - and never feel too dressy, if that makes sense. Although hubby and I both agree ...RG is more glam at first glance and makes a bigger impression, and I am a tad bit worried the WG is more masculine/ industrial looking. I only want one of these ...so this is a very tough decision for me.

Plus the WG matches my hubbies platinum love wedding ring and my own platinum engagement set.
And I can always mix up the WG bangle with yellow gold bangles later to dress it up.

I just would love to hear about WG love bracelet owners opinion if they also find this is true. And if you think WG specifically ages well!:yahoo:

I had originally intended to get Wg because I mainly wear silver, Wg & platinum, but when I tried them on I prefered the yg, I have since added to my yg collection & I hate to admit but I've become a bit obsessed with yg & recently have purchased quite a few pieces & I really would like to get another yg love bangle.

Originally I thought I would also get the WG Love bracelet since most of my watches are SS and my e- ring, wedding band and rhr are all platinum. BUT once I saw the YG there was no turning back! I don't believe that it is too dressy at all to wear every day. I wear mine every day and I love the pop of YG on my wrist! In the end you need to pick the one that really makes your heart sing!

I have the WG love bracelet and love it. I wanted it because my ering and wedding band are platinum and I wear it on my left hand. I just like the look. Since we do not have a Cartier Boutique where I live I never saw a YG or RG love bracelet so I am not sure I would have changed my mind. I have been wearing mine only since Feb. 15 so as far as wear, etc it still looks brand new and I LOVE it so much. It is so comfy and I know there has been some discussion about how shiny/dull the Love Bracelets are with or without diamonds. Mine is w/o diamonds and it is very shiny. I am very happy with the WG and would not do it any other way. I may get another someday with diamonds or even add a YG or RG one to wear with it. Congrats! I hope you enjoy your new Love bracelet and post pictures when you get it!

Thanks ladies. I agree it is a tough one. I am scared to make the decision without going in to consider the color choices in person again - so I am going to drag my pregnant self in this awful weather up to the city today if possible. Sign ...the price increase making things difficult! And they have absolutely NO cuffs in stock for me to try on in the Cartier store that is only 10 min away from me!

Kimber418 : thanks so much for your feedback. I am also really glad that your WG has worn well over time and you love it. Some people said it looks like steel over time and that kind of scared me the most.

everything posh : totally agree, need to find out what color will really make "my heart sing" I don't want to choose the WG just because it is substantially less , and therefore less guilt too, esp with baby on the way :P

Ultimately hubby wants me to just pick the one I really love no matter what.
So hopefully I figure that out soon!

Oh my I am back and just had the most wonderful night at Cartier!
We had the nicest SA and something just felt right as opposed to all other times we have gone in. I tried the cuff in white and rose and even yellow. It was hard deciding and I was still quite torn but leaning towards the rose. Then our SA who has worn his YG for 19 years ! Let me try on the actual RG full bracelet and screwed in lightly - and it was LOVE! I just didn't like the feel of the cuff - so nothing was making my heart skip a beat. Once he put that bracelet on me I turned to hubby and said this is the one ! And kind of with I am sorry look cuz the WG pre-owned one I have on hold is half the price.
But DH said - ok let's get it. Done! I think he was just waiting for that I LOVE it look.

Only thing is I can't wear it until baby is here. I know he is right because it will absolutely be more special that way , I want it to symbolize the start of our new family- and every time I get tired of being pregnant ot uncomfortable I can have something to dream about. Plus he will get a secret engraving which I will read on the day our baby gets here. bUT it was soooooo hard to take it off! I decided so quickly once it was put on I wish I had had savored it more And took a better mental pic. But all I remember is this is the one! And now lil Rosie I call her is beautifully wrapped and at home with me!

I am still in shock about spending the money - only my engagemet ring tops this but hopefully just like my er wt will be worth it!

Thank you for everyone 's advice - it makes it so fun to share! Can't wait to share the real pics in a few months!

I just wanted to add I know there are a lot of debates on metal choice since it is such a big decision and I personally was going bonkers over it ;)

In the end all the colors were breathtaking without a doubt.
I almost liked the clean pop of the white when seen alone.
But all together on me personally the SA said it best - I have a warm glow because I am tan , bronze highlights , I am Chinese but let's just say when I am in Hawaii ( our special place) people definitely think I am from there ... So he said the rose was better for me because of the warmth of the color on my skin tone , but WG has a cool tone.
So in the end I think the right color is instinctively something we love when we see it on us :). But all so beautiful!!!!!

I'm Chinese too!! I think most Asians (even though we're "yellow") have a more blush undertone and the RG just suits us the best ;).

Hehe but I'm glad you got what you wanted!
