I've narrowed it down to two choices, which would you choose to match with a 1.3 CT Tiffany Solitaire?

1) Cartier Platinum Wedding Band
2.6mm ~1ctw / ~20-24 diamonds

Would this ring cause two sides of the finger any issues?

2) Tiffany Shared Setting
3mm ~.56ctw / 7 diamonds

Apologize for using stock photos as I wanted to get a fair comparison and the Cartier was harder to find in real settings. Opinions are welcome but please stick to these two choices!

Edit: Wow butchered the image insert. The bottom one on the left is Cartier, right Tiffany.

Cartier - but just because it's full eternity.
I don't wanna confuse you, but have to ask: what about the full eternity one from Tiffany? (2.2 or 3 mm wide -- 0.86 or 1.76 ctw)

tiffanys! but only because i prefer half eternity bands because i can't stand having the diamonds rub between my fingers... i'm also a klutz.. and i can't even tell how many times i've banged the underside of my hands on tables and such.. so i can't do the full eternity!

If the Cartier one comes in half eternity that gets my vote. I vastly prefer how the Cartier is set. And you won't have issues with the girdles rubbing on anything which you might with the tiffanys.

The Cartier is a full eternity w/ tcw around ~1, so each diamond on it also look vastly smaller compared to the Tiffany. I'm more concerned about the design of the ring as it might cause issues to the sides.

These two bands are similar in price, only exception is in design and width (brand as well), but I'd like to hear some opinion from the female's (or male's) perspective.

The next leg up for Cartier is $7,225 with 1.5 tcw and $6,500 for Tiffany (half-eternity) with .91 tcw, so carat per diamond is also greater. But I'd like to stick within proportion to the 1.3 CT Solitaire as too big of a wedding band would make the engagement ring look too small.

Well the design for the Cartier is already infinitely more secure per stone, and the edges of the diamonds are not exposed on the Cartier, where they are on the Tiffany.

Does Cartier not make a half-eternity version? If they do, I would get that immediately.

I still prefer the size of the Cartier diamonds to the size of the Tiffany ones. The reason being wearability.

But that's MY opinion.

What does your e-ring look like? The size of your center stone if it's a solitaire will make a VERY big difference, to me, in what you should select. You don't want to take away from your engagement ring if you will be wearing together. The cartier is the least likely to detract.
