Ok - it’s heart break time lol. I did purchase a mini sweetheart in black caviar (which I’m delighted about. So she’s a keeper as I have a 2.55 but no classic flap and don’t see myself buying a classic flap for a variety of reasons and the drop on the mini is bad for my height and frame.) I have a REV black caviar GHW WOC, that I use for the occasional errands, concerts where maybe a bag will get bumped around, travel etc. Is this just entirely duplicative? Do I sell her and just get a WOC in a different neutral that isn’t black? Or keep her bc she’s a classic and I can see using for travel still etc. It’s the selling process that’s doing me in - the quotes are miserable and I get annoyed when I know what the resellers will then price her. And I do get buyers on my own if I do a reasonable, close but not over retail auction, but the sheer number of non paying bidders has been EXHAUSTING. Thoughts?? :)

I think they are both worth keeping. I have a WOC and would love to add a classic rectangle mini, but I can't find it anywhere. Sometimes I find the WOC too small but extremely useful so I'll never sell. I love using it for walks and errands, it's so light weight that I don't feel it on. It's really useful and functional for that purpose. I find the small classic too formal and not comfortable crossbody. So a mini would be the perfect in-between size and crossbody option. I'm trying to talk myself out of getting a mini but I don't think it's possible! I would really love all 3 sizes.

Pictures :) I don’t think the two bag styles are, well they’re a little overlapping lol. But they do serve different purposes in that the sweetheart is adjustable carry and looks slightly more formal, and fits a hint more (not AS much as a mini. But I am down to bare essentials or totes after Covid and I don’t mind it.) it’s the color. But it’s certainly easier to not deal with selling and rebuying in a different color, and black is a classic for what I’d use it for. And the REV caviar is def different in look than the seasonal.

The sweetheart mini doesn’t quite fit as much as the classic mini but I’m very tall. And I used to have a jumbo single flap which I never ever used. Shoulder carry only became fussy and Chanel (well truthfully a lot of the designers, I had this issue w Dior drops too, and sometimes Hermes) crossbody is usually very short on me so the jumbo def can’t go crossbody which I really appreciate crossbody as an option as I’m older, and the classic rectangular flap was similar and where it hits my hip sticks right out. The sweetheart is coming out for her maiden voyage tonight! And I can’t wait. The drop on that one can be SO long, it’s amazing.

Thank you of the photos. I say keep the black WOC, like you said it serves a different purpose and a lot of ppl love your black caviar light metal combo. Selling it would be doing it at a loss or be exposed to risks, and I would hate to see that happen.

In the future, if you see a seasonal colored WOC that you like, add that to your collection. Black WOC is very under the radar so this is why it's so popular. KEEP.

I'm actually going the other way around. I have a dark pink 22k WOC, a beautiful bright fuchsia. Right now I'm looking for a black WOC, but I want one with added details so there's variation to my pink one.

On the other hand, I'm curating my LV collection but keeping everything Chanel.

I def am pondering whittling down my overall collection. It’s giving me some things to think about.
