Cher Sparkles at Met Gala 2015 with Marc Jacobs!

Cher rocks a sparkling gown at the 2015 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 4) in New York City.

The 68-year-old legendary entertainer was accompanied on the red carpet by designer Marc Jacobs, who also dressed her for the annual event.

Last year, Marc served as Jessica Lange‘s hunky arm candy at the Met Ball.

This year’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit – celebrating the opening of the China: Through the Looking Glass exhibition – is co-chaired by Jennifer Lawrence, Chinese actress Gong Li, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, and others.

FYI: Cher is wearing a custom Marc Jacobs burgundy and blue sequin circle v-neck gown.

I think she looks like her re-done surgical self and not her original self at all. Nothing close to her Sonny and Cher days.

Also, that filler face, when they smile (and this goes for all of them) kinda freaks me out.

Agree she doesn't look like young Cher. I guess I'd need to see chronological pics of her over the years but to me, she looks more like herself in these pics than in some TV appearances from a few years ago. Or maybe I've gotten used to her PS face.
