I personally like the Nomad, it has a leather interior which the Chelsea does not have and I think the leather is much better quality.

The Nomads are beauuuutiful. That glove-tan leather is dreamy and so, so buttery that I can only imagine will get slouchier, softer and better with age. Plus it’s a 1941... how can you NOT say no to that? And like the others said about the interior. Leather liner > fabric.

Get the Nomad. ASAP.

Actually, Nomad is one of the only styles that's not part of the 1941 collection, that nevertheless comes with leather lining.

I have both Nomad and Chelsea bags. Nomad has better leather and it's such a beautiful bag but I don't like how the handle stands up when use as crossbody. Personally, I prefer Chelsea because I like the outer zip at the back.

I don't own a Chelsea, but I do have the Nomad in butterscotch. It initially was a pretty stiff leather, but it has slouched beautifully over time. It's definitely a beautiful bag. I haven't seen Chelsea in person, but with pebbled leather, it will be less prone to scratches. (I'd say this is a personal preference)

I have a Chelsea Crossbody and love it. It's so lightweight and soft. As others mentioned, it is not lined with leather. The leather appears thinner/softer than the Nomad. I put things in pouches and try not to overfill; so it isn't an issue, but if your things are loose and the bag is full it can look lumpy. It sounds like the Nomad is more luxurious overall, but I haven't seen one up close.
