Food cheese and honey

what do you think is the best type of cheese to use with honey?

I actually cannot imagine what cheese would taste good with honey... maybe a really strong blue cheese, because the honey can offset the taste a bit?... I guess it would serve the same purchase as fig paste.

I had it at Del Posto a while back. Here is a pic:

for a less orchestrated effort, i also enjoy spreading gorgonzola and crush walnut on white bread, toasted, and then drizzled with honey... to die for!

I think cheese and honey on its own would be way too dense, so you'll have to add fruits or nuts to make it a little lighter.

How about brie with candied walnuts, dried cranberries (or dried cherries) and honey?

Try Greek style yogurt with honey. Delish!
