I will be traveling to HK, Seoul and Singapore in a couple of weeks. Am looking to add a H belt and some scarves to my collection. Could the Asian ladies weigh in on which of the 3 countries would be the cheapest for these items? Which country has the best airport duty free boutique? TIA

I've always thought HK and Singapore's prices were pretty similar...
This probably doesn't really answer your question but I've come to learn that Hermes in Asia is always priced much higher. The cheapest place to buy H is actually in Heathrow Airport, London. If you ever pass by, grab as much as you can!

Umm, if it's any help, I know that the twilly is HKD1100, gavroche HKD1500 and 70cm twill is HKD2700!

Definitely not Singapore. Could Robee confirm? But I am not sure if it is still that expensive when it is tax free.

Korea depends. If the korean won is weak it is a good place. But now the won has recovered quite a bit so the price is not that sexy.

HK is always 30% more expensive than Paris. But it is still cheaper than other Asian countries, eg japan, the Philippines, and china.

Anyway, i've just came back from my taiwan trip and transit HK airport, the price for a H belt is pretty similar to SG. Hence it's not much cheaper as you thought. Best is to get in europe or london as mentioned above especially due to the low currency for euro dollars, shld grab it now if you can.

Not sure about Seoul...:)

I just bought a plisse scarf from the Incheon airport. I believe I paid around 56 0000 won
for it. If you are buying with US money or Canadian money you will save alot. The korean won doing badly right now!
