Hi everyone! I'm deciding on my birthday present and am considering something from the Chaumet Jeux de Liens line, probably a necklace. I really like these two options below, but both are available in rose gold or white gold only. There's no store near me, so I am not unable to see these pieces on person. I'm curious how is Chaumet rose gold, is it really pinky or more yellowish like Cartier's rose gold? For example, my rose gold clash ring looks almost like yellow gold.
Also, I'd love everyone's opinions on the design and wearability of this line. I feel like I don't have a good everyday combo to wear. I am happy with the bracelets that I have, including YG love bracelet that I never take off and sometimes I add a small JUC. I also daily wear white gold Rose des Vents mini studs and Maria Tash tiny invisible diamond studs in two upper piercings. I like my earrings set, but I don't love it, so I'm open to getting something else instead of these for daily wear. I don't have any necklace that I wear daily, that's why I'm leaning towards getting a necklace. I have vintage Alhambra MOP and Rose des Vents MOP, but because the stones are sensitive I don't use them daily. I don't mind mixing metals, but I'm not sure regarding rose gold necklace in combination with YG bracelets and white gold earrings, it feels like it's going to be too much going on with three different metal colors. Basically, I'd love to have a necklace and earrings that I never take off, except for special occasions. I have been trying to imagine all different combinations in my head to put together an ideal daily set, but there are so many options of metals and brands that I feel overwhelmed and confused lol. Should I get the WG necklace since I wear WG earrings daily or should I just get everything in YG or RG and stick with it to make things easier and more wearable? With this context, would love to get some advice on Chaumet or any other pieces that you think would work well as an everyday set. 🙏

Happy birthday in advance!

I do not really bother with matching color metals. I choose metal based on what I think the design goes best with (in my own opinion).

The liens line is really beautiful. Not overly feminine which I like. My BML ring and bracelet is RG. Among these brands of Cartier, Bvlgari and Chaumet (because these are my top fav Jewelry brands ), I definitely like Chaumet RG best. Bvlgari RG is my least fav.

Thank you @Purrsey ! It's always so helpful to see real life photos. Your pieces are beautiful!
I agree that the liens line is not overly feminine and I think that's why I'm so attracted to it.
Do you prefer Chaumet RG because it's not very pink? It looks almost yellow on the picture you shared, but I know colors on the screen can be misleading.
You mentioned that you choose metal based on what the design goes best with. What metals do you think work best for the these necklaces? And which one would you recommend as a daily necklace that rarely comes off? Also, not sure if it matters for your opinion, but I have dark hair and light skin tone leaning warm (yellowish undertones). I'm torn between these two styles and between rose vs. white gold. I wish there was a YG option, I'd certainly pick YG.

i do think it’s hard to make out the real color in photo but yes, Chaumet rose gold is very subtle, very soft. It goes well with my skin tone (I think you’re describing me too when you shared about your tone). Bvlgari RG on me is quite “hard”. It almost looks dirty on me :P; maybe it has more copper in it.

I’ve learnt that pave diamonds go best with WG so in my own opinion, I will go for WG when there are many little diamonds. Other than that, I think RG-everything of Chaumet is perfect!

I can’t wait to see what you’ve decided, Maria.
