Has anyone seen The Fate of the Furious? I love that movie franchise (i know...) so I watched Fate the weekend it came out. Good movie and Charlize was brilliant in it! She plays menacing well.

Universal is in very early stages to consider a spin-off from the Fast and Furious franchise with Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham and Charlize. None of the actors are attached yet but they already hired a screenwriter.

It's one of the most successful franchises in history making close to $5 billion in revenues. The reason it works is because it's a simple formula....people driving fast cars doing impossible stunts. If Steve McQueen didn't die, he would've been making movies driving fast American muscle cars well into the end of his career. It basically stole that formula and made it modern. There are 2 more Fast movies expected to be released....I don't think they're stopping anytime soon.
