Usually, I carry medium to large size handbags. Today, I decided to make a change. I figured, I still would carry my hairbrush and tablet in my mini backpack. But I downsized my purse, to my smaller handbag. This small handbag will be mostly just used for identification, money, and cell phone. So, check out the new purse picture and share stories.

Even though I was never a fan of the boxy shape of the jet set crossbody, this one is really calling to me. Absolutely gorgeous!
I used to only carry oversized bags when I was younger, but the convenience of having everything wasn't worth the back and shoulder pain. I consciously downsized about three years ago and mostly carry a small bag now.
My favourite small bags are the RM Love crossbody or MK small Ava, which carry essentials (phones, key pouch, card holder, MK folding carryall cardcase wallet, headphones, pocketbac, lip balm, lipstick, compact mirror, tissue, pen). I really should carry a compact comb as well, but I always forget. I use this when I'm going out for less than three hours, and I can buy food and water and I won't be dealing with a lot of stuff like paper or receipts.
If I know I'm going to be doing something that requires me to carry enough stuff for a day, I use my MK jet set top zip tote and transfer everything from the small bag into it. It's big enough to fit a small bottle of water, granola bars, pouches for makeup and other stuff, brush, planner, folded papers, compact umbrella. If I need to carry more, then I also carry a cloth tote bag for a large bottle of water, ziplock boxes or large packets of food, letter and legal sized manila envelopes, etc. This lets me distribute the weight. For work, I use a laptop bag which fits all the work-related stuff I need, so I use the MK tote, or medium Ava or Florence, or small Sutton or Cynthia for what ever else I personally need.

Well, ladies I decided to change again. I think this trend will last for years. I am carrying a Vera Bradley campus backpack with roll on wheels. It’s like a backpack with wheels. I still carry either the Michael Kors handbag or Coach Keith Haring Camera bag with it. Not carrying the Michael Kors mini backpack anymore. The campus backpack gives me more space for my things, and is easier to carry.
