Recently my mom offered to get me a bag and I am stumped on which one I like better. I will see both in store soon but I would like some opinions before I go and look. I want something not too big but can fit an iPhone and a lipstick or something definitely silver hardware in black or silver leather. any other suggestions? thx -Helena

I have the Chanel WOC so I can only comment on it. I’ve had it since March and have basically been using it almost everyday. I love it mostly cuz I can wear it crossbody and with three kids being hands free is a must. I also love it cuz it goes with everything - casual, dressy...
also if I need a bigger bag I just often carry both the WOC and my bigger bag and I don’t find it looks funny.
I have to say I really love the lady dior too and am putting that on my wish list next. I went to see the non-mini one in store and it’s a bit heavy (esp the patent leather version). Nevertheless I think I’ll get it one day in a pinky nude. I feel the lady Dior is more dressy but still so dainty and beautiful.
With the things you need to fit, I don’t think either should be a problem. I can easily fit my iPhone, cards, cash, lipstick, receipts, and my LV 6 key holder in my WOC. Good luck deciding! [emoji5]

Depending on your phone, mini LD may not fit it. I suggest going a size up. I own and like Chanel woc, but I agree with other members, it’s not really a bag. Follow your heart in store [emoji4]

I like the mini Lady Dior. Personally though I will go for the My Lady Dior. Carries more. Can be casual or dressy.

I also vote for the Lady Dior. I just tried it on a few days ago and it’s so chic and elegant. As much as I love my WOC, it really doesn’t hold much. I also think the Lady Dior is slightly more versatile. Both are great purchases. Let us know what you decide!

I only have the WOC and never saw the mini Dior in real life. I love the WOC (caviar leather) as it is so practical when you need nothing more than a small wallet, keys and phone. It's also super low maintenance (caviar can get rained and snowed on without issues) and I can simply stuff it in a suitcase or larger bag as an evening option without dustbag. I think it boils down to: do you want a low maintenance crossbody that can double down as evening clutch or do you want an actual purse? I agree the Dior looks more elegant.

I own a woc and a medium Lady Dior, and I recommend getting the woc if you can only get one of them rn:
1. You can probably get more use out of a woc. The Lady Dior bag is absolutely stunning but it's also very elegant - many daily/casual outfits won't match. On the other hand, a woc is very flexible and you can almost wear it with anything any occasion.
2. You can carry woc in more (hand-free) ways. The woc can be carried as a crossbody bag, a shoulder chain bag, or a clutch. The Lady Dior bag can only be carried by hand, or crossbody (which didn't happen to me much as I think it looks better when carried by hand).
3. Just a personal opinion: if you don't have any Lady Dior bag, I'd recommend going for a medium-sized Lady Dior bag as your first one. The mini is VERY tiny. Unless that's what you're looking for, the medium will probably be a better choice.

That being said, both bags are adorable! Whichever one you choose, I'm sure you'll love it. :)
