Chanel vintage clip on earring repair

Hello everyone,

My mom gave me her vintage clipon earrings but the back clip-on is missing from one of them
Could somebody recommend me where I can fix my vintage chanel clip on earring?

Currently I live in NYC, and I visited the chanel boutique to inquire about the missing clip. They said I would have to send it in but they're not sure if they have the parts since it's a vintage piece.
Are there any alternative places I can go to, to fix these earrings?

I contacted the sales associate as she contacted the department. She told me "Due to the age of the item, they don't have the part available to replace and it's not available to order"

That's annoying. I'd take them to a local jeweler for repair.

Those are called frog clip on earring backings. You can have a jeweler attach a new one on. You can also convert them to have earring posts, might be more comfortable to wear.

Do a quick google search - there’s several places that do these kinds of repairs. It’s likely some local jewelers may as well. It’s worth making a few calls so you don’t have to send them off and instead can drop off and pick up. They’re really gorgeous by the way. Hope you find a good place!

I have a pair that the clips on the back were both removed and converted to post earrings. So if you'd prefer that they have posts instead of clips that is an option.
