Chanel Ventes Privees (Private Sales)?

Hi, anybody knows what the ventes privees stamp means? It translates to private sale right? But what is the stamp's effect on the authenticity and resale value? Thanks!

Hello, private sales is for Chanel employees. They have that kind of sales for their employees meaning they have bags way less expensive that in store.

Hi

Anyone knows if its true, that a Chanel boutique wont service a Chanel flap bag, that has the “Ventes Privees” stamp?
For instance if I wanted to get some hardware changed.
I heard someone mention this, so now Im reluctant to buy such a bag, if Chanel wouldnt want to take it in.

Any help appreciated.
