I just bought a small chanel classic flap in black and it is in the 29 series. I just realize shouldn't store be getting it in the 30 series by now instead of 29. Did anyone else recently got a small classic flap and its in the 29 series or 30 series? Are there any difference in leather for those who maybe have both 29 and 30 series. Thank you!

I just bought the beige medium CF last week. They had 2 in the boutique. The 29 series was completely wrapped and fresh out of the box untouched. I examined it and it was perfect! The 30 series while tempting to get since it’s newer, was on display with a small scuff, some hairline scratches and a dent on the back pocket. I went with the 29 (it’s 299xxxx so should be very recent). I didn’t notice any difference in the leather between the 2 and I’m completely happy with mine. My black medium CF which I got back in May is a 29 series too and is perfectly stunning!
I have a 29 series ghw small flap. Most of them that I saw were matte and pebbly.
My 27 series is a flatter and bigger pebbles with shine and puff. I see more 30 series that is shinier but soft leather. It’s gonna vary by series

Hi, would you be able to share some photos of this? I have a classic flap and you just described what my bag is consisting of- my flap has pebbles and shine but my bottom half of the bag is matte and pebbly. Thanks!
