Hi everyone,

I am currently owning:
1. a small classic flap (black caviar/gold hardware)
2. a mini rectangular (black lambskin/light gold hardware)
3. a mini rectangular (caramel lambskin/light gold hardware)

I am thinking a new bag: either small boy (black caviar/ruth hardware) or mini top handle (black caviar/gold hardware). I m not really sure which one to get. Really appropriate any input. Thank you!

Since you already have 2 rectangular minis and a small classic, if you’re looking for more variety, I’d go with the boy. I feel like the mini top handle is basically another one of what you already have, just with the top handle. If you really want a top handle and feel it would serve a different purpose in your collection, then of course, go for it. But honestly, I’d go for the boy! It gives off a totally different vibe from anything else in your current collection, while still being just as classic.

Hiya! I thought this was a very interesting dilemma as my current collection is quite similar to yours with 1 classic flap (black caviar) and 2 mini rectangular (black lambskin and mermaid blue patent!).

I personally owned the much sought after caviar with top handle mini flap but did not enjoying using it as much as I thought I would. I found the handle a bit cumbersome and I eventually sold that bag. If you are like me and are used to the rectangular mini flap, you would not find it easy to use. That's just my personal opinion.

If I had to choose between those two, I'd suggest the boy bag. Do try it on a few times in the store and see how comfortable you find the chains of the bag. Note, the boy bag is a bit edgy as it's heavy on the metal - aesthetically speaking...

Is the mini top handle available in caviar? I thought they didn’t make minis in caviar anymore. I would definitely go for the mini in all cases though, it’s much more versatile than the boy.
