Chanel silk scarfs - to CC or not

Hi everyone! I’ve been looking to see if there’s a thread on Chanel silk scarves and scarves in general, but I couldn’t find anything.

If this thread is unnecessary, please close it and lead me into the right direction. I purchased a pre-loved brand-new inbox silk scarf.

I wanted something with a lot of beige and black so it’s as neutral as possible. This ticks all the boxes. But with the recent trend of having logos as minimalistic as possible, I am wondering if this may seem scream Chanel to you?

Also: I have been trying to figure out which season is from and I realised that the Chanel logo tabs must’ve changed a lot over the course of the last few years.

Can someone help me authenticate this?

Does someone have the same scarf? Ir also came in the other colour version, white and black instead of black and white.

I saw that some of the online tags show that the scarves have the season printed on the tag. Some have a separate small label inside of the care label that shows a season. Some have nothing at all. How confusing! Mine has the latter saying 17P. See below! It comes from a very trustable secondhand shop, but it’s confusing me that I find images online with the same scarf with the tag being different and apparently from 12p. Surely they didn’t release the same pattern twice?

I know we are all good by now to spot fake handbags, but does anyone here have any expertise on silk items?

Apart from questions reg. The labels and so on - what’s ur opinion on this particular pattern?

I tried some tying variations (see below) and actually feel it’s growing on me 🤣

I do not have this print, but do own a couple of silk twilly scarves, and have been pleased with them. I asked the seamstress to remove the label as the placement of it was annoying!

Hi, I am no expert and of course cannot authenticate yours. As far as I know, this is classic style and released like any other chanel classic items. I have black and pink one in this print. I will check the tags if I find them and share pics.

I like how you styled it with the grey cardigan (mid left picture) to give it a more casual look.

Yes I thought so! But are we allowed to compare tags out of curiosity on how Chanel changes over the years? I noticed it on my shoes too (which were bought at a Chanel store so no authenticity questions there 😁). I do want to understand how seasons are labelled on clothing and so on. And share styling ideas. 🙏🏻 @IrresistibleLuxe thanks! How do you wear yours?

Nothing remotely authenticity based, no.
That would include asking about if certain tags or hallmarks are normal or the same as others.
