Chanel shopping bag thoughts

What do you think of this bag? I just bought a different style shopping bag from them but this was more of what I’m looking for. I love that it has pockets on both sides and two zip pockets inside. At the same time, I also kind of want a small coco handle and do have the other bigger bag (even tho don’t love). Since I’m not shelling out for two more bags, I was wondering other people’s opinions! Thanks😜

I have it and although I don’t carry it daily, I love the bag.
Second pic was traveling, it had a laptop, Goyard Cap Vert and a Chanel wrap/blanket inside, lol Very roomy!

Chanel totes are great. I had a small GST at one point, and I also have a Cambon large tote black with black patent CC.

Chanel makes wonderful totes and back in the days, the prices were reasonable. Now I cannot justify spending so much on a tote which I intend to use heavy duty.

Thank you for the response! Wouldn’t it be easier to justify spending the money if you intended to use it heavily? Or do you like Chanel for the resale value? The prices have gotten absurd in the last couple of years. That said, I feel they are the only ones that don’t mass produce (aside from Hermes/Birkin).

I'm terrible at selling my luxury items. I always end up with heavy losses, so now I only buy to keep, or to gift to a loved one.

For example, I saw this pale blue tote online, it's divine, but looks like lambskin. So I worry about its durability to wear and tear. I saw a woman carrying hers in black but it already looks beat up. The older Chanel totes were built like a truck, and used thicker leather.

I buy to use as well. I’m awful at selling anything. I do worry about it being lambskin as I plan to use it as an every day bag. Also, this is the tag. It doesn’t have the purse picture on it, so doesn’t that mean it was a return? It was shipped from another store.

I used to have this bag and I gave it to my sister because I didn’t wear it. It’s really beautiful but I personally found it a little on the small side compared to a GST or a deauville tote.

Although the colour is gorgeous I would definitely not buy this type of bag in lambskin. They come in caviar leather also (mine was black caviar) and it will be so much more practical for this type of bag. Lamb will show wear very very quickly if you plan to wear it often.
