My SA suggests alteration every time because I’m a true size 32. Jackets that are meant to be fitted always have to be altered at the shoulder, back and sleeve length. Jeans/skirts have to be taken in and hemmed. Sometimes I do take cardigans or less structured jackets as is if they look intentionally oversized

I have a few LBjs (now old) and they always come in handy. Yours looks perfect!
I have not tried it. It looks great on the model. However, I think it would be difficult — unless you are built like a model — to carry this kind of silhouette. I’m too biased though to render an objective opinion. Bc for someone my age, this brings back an eighties shape (double breasted short jacket, worn open) which didn’t work on me the first time around. I’d be interested to see action shots from someone who has tried it

I tried this on. The tweed is lovely but it’s cropped style which doesn’t work for me. I prefer the tweed on the feather trimmed black/white jacket though but the feather trim was too much for me…
New to me 2014 pink jacket! I initially was not sure about the window pane pattern but the removable lace cuff was too irresistible to pass. I was delightfully surprised at how easy it’s to wear and matches with a lot of my wardrobes. Very lightweight and great for summer.

I went today and my store purchased neither! 😠Those were my top picks too. I tried on this coco beach denim bag and this 25p dress today though.
