Chanel return policy for remote orders

Hi everyone.
I purchased a handbag from Chanel NYC standalone boutique. It was a remote order, when I finally saw the bag I didn’t really like the color so I decide to return it. Due to the pandemic I cant travel to the city so my sa told me they will provide return label and their shipping will email to me.1 week has past I still haven’t received anything and My SA is not replying my message.
I see on the receipt there was only 14 days to return or exchange. So does the 14days apply to remote orders too? Can I still get refund if it’s over 14 days?(the shipping and delivering already took 4 days)

You need to speak to the store manager and begin to document all correspondence. i find the stand alone boutiques to be very, very unresponsive when you need to return an item. That has helped to curtail my purchases from stand alone boutiques. You need to be in contact with your credit card company and ask how they need for you to proceed.

Urghh this is so frustrating. I already past the 14 days now. I would never buy from standalone btq ever again! Now I’m thinking to buy my own postage and ship it back. I will contact credit card company after I do so. Thank you!!

Try to call the Chanel Customer Service +1.800.550.0005 and explain the situation to them to see if they can do anything for you or maybe request them to connect you to the manager at the boutique? Talk to the manager and request them to send you an overnight return label. Good luck!

The SA should have made sure your package contained a pre-paid return shipping label (which is usually using a 2-day FedEx). Trying to shop over the phone, where iPhone pictures don't represent the true colors, can be frustrating.
Call the 1-800 customer service and explain your situation; give them your email address. They will reach out to the boutique manager on your behalf so the manager can reach out to you directly. The manager can email you the shipping label. Good Luck!!
 
Whenever I order from standalone boutique there is a Fedex 2 day return label in with the paperwork in the box. So strange you didn't get one! Hope you can get this sorted soon.

Hi sorry to piggyback ride on this but I returned a small wallet via mail using the pre-paid Fedex label. It's delivered for more than a week now but I haven't got any email confirming the return nor the refund to my card. Anyone experienced this? How long does it usually take and should I contact someone then?

You should receive an email receipt reflecting the return/refund. If it's been a week and you haven't received an email or a refund back to your card, I would reach out to the boutique.

I need to return an item I purchased from A Neiman Marcus Chanel that’s an 8 hour drive. The piece is not as I’d imagined so my plan is to return to the Chanel Neiman Marcus in my area/Palo Alto (my package did not include any return information or a fed ex label, just my receipt). I’ve never returned anything in person to Chanel Neiman Marcus. I’m within the 14 day return window. Is there anything I should be aware of or expect? Returning luxury items gives me high anxiety!

I never returned anything to NM Chanel but I returned something in person at a Chanel boutique and it was a very smooth and quick transaction. Just make sure you have the original packaging and everything that came with the product, the receipt and sometimes they may ask for your Credit card.

That’s comforting to hear, thanks for your input. I hope that is also the case @NM. Yes I will make sure everything comes with me (ribbon, packaging, etc). Thanks again!

You can return to your local NM but I would recommend letting the SA who originally helped you to let them know you’re returning. I had bought something from a NM SA that was across the country and the item arrived with a huge scratch so I went to the Palo Alto NM and returned it and the SA ended up blocking me.
