hi guys! i’m fairly new to chanel. so far i’ve got a mini square in black caviar, a classic wallet and a few pairs of shoes. i’m looking to grow my chanel bag collection so i’m seeking advice on when chanel releases new collections.

when do they release a new collection and how often? i know there’s seasons like cruise, fall/winter, pre-fall but i would like to know which months they start rolling out the collections.

also for bags like deauville and mini coco handle how often do they release bags like that?

V = Classic/Continuous Collection
P = Printemps Collection Spring Act 1 (released January to March)
S = Summer Collection Spring Act 2 (released March to June)
A = Autumn Collection Pre-Fall, Metiers D'Arts (released May to September)
B = Fall/Winter Act 1 (released June to October)
K = Fall/Winter Act 2 (released August to November)
C = Cruise Collection (released November to January)

For example:
17A = 2017 Automne (Fall)
17P = 2017 Printemps
17C = 2017 Cruise

wow! thank you for this comprehensive list! finally i get to understand the what the B at the end means haha. so it seems there’ll be releases every month then?

will there be deliveries of the older collection or do the releases stop once a newer collection is officially launched?

how often do they release the deauville? i’ve read on here that they release deauville every collection is this accurate?

i’m hoping to score the deauville and mini coco handle this september *fingers crossed*

The deauville according to my SA will be the cruise collection ,in fabric .

Yes. I missed the Raspberry Red 18B Timeless Classic in Medium last year and the store received one more piece at end of October when 18K had long launched. Pure luck and a one off. They were surprised themselves (no return, fresh from the box). Worth checking in with your store, maybe they know if they will receive more of the item you are looking for.
