Urban spirit caviar backpack bought less than a year ago… already showing signs of wear in the leather rubbing off like it’s pvc. So disappointing, and I baby this bag. I do not wear it every day, put it on the ground or throw it around. Has anyone else had issues like this? Would the boutique cover this in the warranty?
I realize it’s not extremely noticeable yet but the the fact that I use the bag sparingly and it’s been less than a year is not acceptable to me at $6000. I have fake leather goods holding up better than this.

Looks like it's been accidentally scraped, or rubbed from swinging/rubbing from friction against clothing or something.
I think it's pretty normal on the corners/piping for a lot of bags depending on use.

i expected better quality than this. I’m quite gentle with my bags 😭 makes me reconsider future purchases. Any insight into whether they’d fix something like this? Thank you in advance.

+1

The unfortunate reality @LiveLoveBags is that regardless of price paid accidents happen and you can permanently damage the corner of even an H bag during your first time wearing it…

Sometimes we accidentally rub against something and other times it’s completely out of our control and someone else rubs against us while we are out in public. (This happens more often with backpacks since we don’t see what’s going on behind us making it harder to protect the bag)

Definitely still worth taking it in to see what they can offer as aftercare though! (I’ve been pleasantly surprised with past experiences dealing with their repair department after all)

I'm sorry to hear that happened to your bag. I have the same backpack which has a mark right in the middle (back), not as bad as yours but it is indeed disappointing. I try not to worry about it too much and just enjoy the bag.

I suggest try taking it in to see if they can do something about it? Hoping for the best outcome. Good luck.
