Chanel phone wallet- yes or no?

Hi guys,

I’ve been trying to get a compact wallet in grey, pastel blue or pastel pink for an eternity but Chanel in Australia has none.
I saw this advertised - brand new and while it’s not compact it is really slim and would fit well in my medium double flap.
I haven’t seen them around before so I’d like some opinions. I’ve watch a few videos and my only concern is having the cards on the outside but otherwise I really like it. I haven’t seen it in person but there does seem to be quite a few for sale at the moment so just wondering why. Not sure whether to buy this one or wait for a compact wallet. Anyone have or had one? Thoughts??

I have a black caviar one and I like it. It fits my phone. The interior also has some card slots if you are worried about putting the cards on the outside. I bought it from the boutique so I think the price was reasonable. I don’t know how much this was charged and it looked like there’s a flaw closer to the right corner?

Yes there is a wrinkle in the caviar unfortunately but disappears when there is a phone in there (see pic). Not sure how much they retail for - this one is around 1200 full set and used. Still with stickers on. There’s a few others around this price in black - it’s no longer available in boutiques so unsure what the RRP is. Do you think it’s worth buying with the flaw? I can’t believe I can’t get the wallet version! There’s just no stock here! It sucks!

I have this one in this exact color! My mom
and I were at Neimans, and she purchased it for me as a birthday gift last month! I like it because if you purchase a chain from Amazon, it works as a cute clutch as well. It’s pretty versatile!

Where can you attach the chain? Does Chanel sell one?? I just don’t know whether it’ll drive me nuts pulling my phone in and out all the time. But the pouch seems pretty handy for coins, receipts and notes. I’m so unsure whether to get it.
Anything you don’t like about it?

If you don’t think you change your phone often, I think it’s not bad. I got it for 800 USD + tax so if yours is in Australian dollar, it sounds reasonable. It really depends on how much you care about the “flaw.” Do you think you’ll be able to get a wallet version soon when things restock?

I attached it to the zipper pull. I purchased the chain from Amazon, it’s not Chanel. I was worried about the color, so I don’t use it very often. But I am looking forward to using it as both a wallet and small clutch and like that it also fits in my 19 bag.

I love this thing. I mostly use it for business trips where I just need to trot around with my phone my ID and hotel key and my business cards. I throw it in my work bag and it’s a chic way to have all my stuff with me. I also use it Instead of a purse when I break for lunch and don’t want to carry my whole work bag. Don’t get me wrong you can use it for a lot more. It’s a really nice piece I love mine!
