Khaki collection gossip: on the MUA nail board I heard that it would be online by Sept 8th!

I picked it up sometime last year at the airport but I have never seen it in the stores b4.

I looked it up and it was an Asia exclusive/LE. Boo! Izzy's had it, it's sold out now.

I took some more photos of Steel and Strong today when the light was good. I took a lot more photos of Strong to show how the colour can shift with the light.

It seems to move from a blackberry to a purple with shimmer. It's quite different in the daylight to how it appeared at night which was almost a deep reddy brown/black.

Once it's on the nail, it looks quite flat unless you're in direct sunlight and the shimmer then picks up.

Putting Nouvelle Vague on my hands, thanks to inspiration from SkBass(sp?) who said she put it on her toes... BH loves it, says I need more Chanel... I think that's a "GO" on more, woot!

I have a question regarding Holographic: how important is it to use the base coat it came with? I only can find the polish bottles on eBay, not the entire set. Can I use just any other basecoat or is there anything that makes the one in the set special?
