Wanted to ask about your buying experience at the point of purchase. And how you were able to register for the new Chanel & Moi program.
When I bought my jumbo classic flap in black caviar at the Chanel in the nearest Neiman Marcus a few weeks ago, I wasn’t made aware of how the program really works. Just that I get a 5 year warranty.
My SA showed me the plaque with my serial number. I don’t remember registering into a client app, or scanning the plaque on my bag or the QR code on the tag. My SA just gave me Chanel’s customer support care team card and told me to call them. Sadly I got busy so I put it off. Today I decided to work on registering for the program. When I called the customer support line, they told me they don’t really do this over the phone and to contact my SA. They do it during the “selling ceremony” - lol yes she called it a ceremony.
When I checked my profile on the Chanel iPhone app, it also doesn’t show my purchase history. (This is my first Chanel boutique purchase btw.)
What is really the process? Did my SA skip a step? I want to make sure I have all the info right before I contact my SA again. Thank you all for your help with a newbie here. And if there is already a thread about this, I apologize in advance.
