Hi all! I was wondering whether it's typical for the mini flap to have champagne hardware? I was expecting it to be silver or gold, but the SA I spoke to suggested the minis only come with champagne hardware for this season. Is this a recent change? And is the champagne metal as popular/classic as the others?

For a while now Chanel has been mostly using Light Gold & Silver for Mini Flaps.. Just depends what they decide for the season. Mini's may also come in aged gold, but not as often. They do not come in "Regular" gold like the Black Classic flaps as they are considered seasonal pieces.
Hey. Regarding mini flaps, I am trying to get hold of the mini flap in black from the Cruise collection in London or Paris? Apparently sold out everywhere. SA’s don’t seem that helpful on advising if and when more will come into stock. The collection only became available in boutiques a week ago so I would’ve thought they would get more. Can anyone help? Or has anyone seen any over the last few days in any of these stores? Thanks a lot.
I saw a black mini flap from 23c a couple of weeks ago that was in Champagne hardware. My issue with it was the color of the hardware of the chain didn't match the color of the hardware on the cc clasp. The chain was definitely champagne gold and the cc was silver-ish. The associate said that they were the same, and it was just the lighting. I passed on that one.
I see champagne gold the most, then silver, then aged gold in some seasons. Champagne gold looks both and silver in different lightings.
I think this is actually pretty common, I've seen a few posts about this and my own mini is the same. I suppose it could be the lighting... the CC has more surface area so it may not reflect as much yellow from the light as the hardware on the chain. I didn't really notice until much later after I had already purchase though.
That is so interesting! I saw another black mini with champagne hardware last week and it had the same thing, with the chain hardware not exactly matching the cc clasp. It may be something specifically with the champagne hardware--I have other bags with gold hardware and the chain and clasp definitely match.
