Hi all! Would be super grateful for your help! I bought a Chanel classic mini in black lambskin about two weeks ago. I really loved it but when I unboxed, I noticed two scratches on the flat quilts on the side of the bag. They're only noticable in a certain light so I didn't spot them when I was in the store. Unfortunately they don't buff out. I really love this bag but when I'm paying so much money for it, I want it to be perfect. That said, with the never ending price increases and the fact I got super lucky finding this bag in the first place, I'm wondering whether I should keep it, especially becuase the marks aren't immediately obvious. Alternatively, I could try to find a different colour mini, if the blacks are all out of stock by now. But because i justified buying the black as an investment, i want to know if the other colours hold their value as well as the classic black mini?

Do you have photos? If they were there upon purchase, and bother you, I'd try to exchange. I LOVE lamb and I'm able to rub/buff out light scratches. If you can't really see them and you cannot exchange for another, I'd likely keep.
minis are super hard to come by - mine came with a scratch on the bottom, but really honestly, the mini hype is real. I went to another botique and they flat out said no everytime i inquired. so I got super lucky when I found one... if the scratches aren't too visible, i say keep. but if it bothers you, maybe you can ask your SA for another one.
Thank you so much you guys for your advice! Unfortunately the scratches don't photograph well as they've gotta be in a certain light to see them. One scratch is around an inch in length, it's not deep luckily but it doesn't buff out. I think if it was on the front of the bag it would really bother me, but because it's on the side where it bends in anyway and you have to work to get the right angle to see them, I think you guys are right, I should keep it. I went to the store the other day to speak to an SA about it and before I took out the bag, I literally overheard someone asking for the exact same one only to find it's out of stock. Had no idea how sought-after these minis were before I stumbled upon it by chance!
I am still curious about the value of the minis in different colours (I think I'll try to get another one next year!), do you guys know anything about those? Especially because I saw a few secondhand medium and large flaps on sale in different colours for a few thousand less than retail, but I had it in my head that flaps always retained their value
