I really really do not like the "accordion bag"

I think other threads are calling this collection "Pre-Fall", so might be posting it in the Fall threads. I hope there are nice things in this release.

But, Metiers d'Arts is not Pre Fall ( in France, maybe it's different, or called different in USA ), there will be a Pre Fall ( Fall Act 1 ) too in 2018 launch during the summer, no ?

In France, in Boutiques and on the Chanel iPhone app, collections are called :

Pré-Collection Printemps Été
Collection Défilé Printemps Été
Metiers d'Arts
Pré-Collection Automne Hivers
Collection Défilé Automne Hivers
Croisière

Every single year we have this debate. I clearly see that Metiers d'Arts is a special collection similar to Cruise (but really not...much better in my eyes), but the experts keep calling it Pre-Fall. I just bow out and wait for the photos.

I’m missing what the debate is. Metiers d’Art is Chanel’s highest level of craftsmanship before you reach Couture. For example, there are jackets from the Hamburg show that retail for $20k -$50k. It is presented before the Fall season thus why it is also referred to as Pre-Fall.

I Know, but for Chanel in Paris, Pre Fall means that you call "Acte I" for the regular collection

Pre Fall is a season like Spring, Fall and Cruise; a period during which collections are shown. As per your above post it appears they refer to our Act 1 as Fall Pre Collection but I am not French and only relying on terms commonly utilized by international Fashion press/houses etc.
