Hola, My sister is off to Madrid and I was hoping to get a chanel bag from the outlet there. Just wondering if any Spanish Chanel fans have seen any reissues in the store. Would also like to know the price for the 227 size and what is the VAT rebate? Any good SA to ask for when my sis in the store? thanks...

p.s - hoping there is a black matte/metallic reissue (size 227)!!!:tup:

I need your advice urgently as my friend is leaving for Spain this weekend.

1. Any good Chanel SA in Madrid to recommend so that I can make a call to reserve the bag?

2. Anyone seen the Beige jumbo in Madrid?

3. What is the latest price for jumbo caviar and lambskin? Is it true that both also retailing at €2550 as shown at here

Spanish Customs will ask to see your ticket to verify that you are leaving Spain. At that time also show them the ticket from Paris to Singapore and you should have no problem.
You will be considered an in-transit passenger in Paris. You will not go through Passport Control or Customs so you are formally leaving the EU from Spain.
At Madrid-Barajas airport, you will first get the VAT Refunds forms stamped by Spain Customs and then proceed to the refund office or mail the forms in to get the refund. Global Refund and Premier Tax Free have offices in T4.

Just thought I'd check with you ladies whether any of you have gone to Chanel in Madrid? My hubby goes there next week and as he failed to get me a black PST in Heathrow last week (they only had the red which I wasn't convinced about) ....it's on the top of his shopping list!
Any experiences/ advice much appreciated - & I'll pass it on to hubby! I don't want him to come home empty handed again!

Hello there! Yes I have. Just to let you know that they do not have the PST you are looking for. Since there might/will be a price increase in February...I suggest you pay a bit extra and get the GST. They only have classic colors and NO seasonal colors. They do have the GST XL in black SHW. It's still €1790.
My experience was wonderful. Treated like a VIP the moment I entered until I left the store. Excellent customer service! Everyone was wonderful. I forgot my SA's name. When I do remember, I'll let you know. Good luck!

Thank you for your reply! I already have a GST black with GHW, so was hoping for the PST or something with SHW, as I wear both gold and white gold jewellery. My hubby goes next week, I think 23rd so I might try calling the store to see what they have. I love the GST, but don't know if it would be silly to have 2 the same just with different hardware! Is the GST XL you saw super big? Thx

You are welcome! Ahhh you already own one. There nothing wrong with having two though. But of course in a different color. Haha! But yes, I'm sure they don't have the PST. They had other totes though. There was one without the inner zip pocket. Probably the Istanbul tote. But I might be wrong. It was pretty too. But I wanted the GST more.
The GST XL was quite big. It would suit people who want to use it to carry a lot of stuff like to college or work or traveling. I might consider it one day or another GST in a different color or a Cerf tote. Hehe!

Hello:smile1:.... I think I might just try calling the boutique a day or so before my hubby goes or when he gets to Spain. I think the GST XL. Would be to big for me for sure, Cerf tote is not for me either...I just hope he comes back with something! Failing that I go home to the UK for Christmas and will be passing through Heathrow T3....where I brought my GST and WOC in the summer :D I won't come home empty handed! :laugh:

Hey guys, I'm also going to Spain in December! Does anyone know how much the prices of the bags (Chanel, LV etc.) differ between Paris and Barcelona? I know they are both in Euros, but I was just wondering if the prices would differ between the two cities. Are there any brands that might be cheaper in Spain?

Hello. If I'm not mistaken, the prices of LV and Chanel throughout Europe is the same. It's just a matter of which country gives the most percentage for VAT. And how much also depends on the price if the bag. For 1790€ you get 14.05%. For brands that are cheaper in Spain, I would suggest the Loewe store in the Factory Outlet Las Rozas. I'm just unsure which models they have there. Hope I helped! 😊

Spain vat refund is higher than in France!

And there's an absolutely gorgeous tall blond SA in Barcelona, his name is Alexandro. He's also very knowledgable about Chanel! And you know absolutely breathtakingly beautiful :p:D
