Chanel jumbo vs maxi advice needed

Hi, I had my heart set on a Chanel jumbo black bag in caviar with gold hardware. I was at the Chanel boutique today and of course they didn't have them in stock. But they had it in the maxi size. I took pics with the jumbo (in pink since that's all they had) and the maxi. I love the strap length of the maxi but I feel that the size is too big for me and I should wait for the jumbo. What do you think?

I'm a fan of big bags and don't think the maxi is too big on you but you are questioning it and that shows that you don't feel comfortable with that size. So I say go with the one you feel most comfortable with.

Jumbo is the best size for me. I can store so much in it. The maxi was a bit big even for me that likes big bags.
Can they order a jumbo 4 you? Are you going for the lamb or the caviar?
