Chanel Jumbo 2009 beige caviar has soft bottom? NO HARD PLATE INSERT?

Please help! I just bought preloved Chanel Jumbo 2009 beige caviar. It’s very different from my black jumbo 2011 and I am concerned. The leather is so much softer then I thought caviar will be. But besides that the bottom DOES NOT HAVE HARD INSERT in it and it’s soft. Hm, it has card and mark inside but I still worry is it possible or something wrong with this bag? Also da switch kinda loose and flipping to easy when not expected. Oh… help to figure please

The bag bottom is soft as the sides. No carton inside bottom part.

That’s a particular style. In general, the lighter, seasonal caviars are super soft. Whereas, classic permanent collection black caviars are typically more rigid unless otherwise specified.

Thank you. Yes I was surprised how lighter and softer it’s compare to black caviar jumbo. I find out that this is beige suede caviar and supposedly softer leather etc.

Hi nina838. Be very careful with shade caviar especially in a light color. I heard that it does not ware well and gets dirty easily.

That seasons (09P) Caviar was called "washed". It came in this color, Pink, and Blue. Nothing to be concerned with, just a seasonal variation.
