Chanel J12 question

I have the 33mm white diamond marker watch and it has silver hands. The 38mm I just bought has black hands. I never noticed this until I compared them. I am confused if Chanel changed the color at some time or if there are both silver and black hand options in the automatic. The black hands I can see better but not sure if I prefer the silver hands, especially against the diamond markers.

my 38 has silver hands. but i also have the glow in the dark marker and hands as well. not sure if this is because my version is the one with diamond markers and center "bullseye"

I've owned a 33mm and a 38mm, both with diamond markers and both with silver hands. The 33 was purchased in 08, and the 38 was purchased this year. I have noticed that in certain light, the hands on the j12s sometimes look black (if you look at the j12 thread in the reference section, some hands do look black in photos, but I think it's the angle of the picture).
