Chanel J12 or Longines Dolce Vita?

Currently deciding what to get for my birthday, I just want something to buy really

Deciding between the two, all opinions wanted!

The Longines gets my vote (I'm actually considering it for my birthday).

I feel the Longines is more feminine than the J12.

Such different watches. Depends on what your going for. The j12 is sporty, fun, everyday. The Longines is dressy, classic. Both are beautiful.

I agree that these are very, very different watches - tough to compare! I'd go with the Longines though - it's more of a classic and more versatile. I'm doubting the J12 will every be considered a classic, and may become dated in a few years, but I could be wrong.

i love the chanel!! i think it will far outpass the other one.. its already been around 8 years and is just getting more and more popular!! i would definalty go for the j12

For me there is no comparison between those two. I'll absolutely pick J12 with no second thought.

I have the black J12--I bought it primarily because I was getting a great deal, but I really LOVE it. It is a terrific everyday watch.

You can never go wrong with a Longines. Glassic! Love the J12, but that would not be a first choice if you would wanted to invest in a great piece that will stand the test of time! I wish I had your problem. Happy shopping!

I'd say it depends on if you want a sporty (J12) or classic/dressy watch (Longines). They both are beautiful watches!

I want something that will go with everything I have, some what casual mostly.

Dolce Vita is cheaper but more common, and I feel that the diamonds are a bit too much for everyday.

J12 is a little gaudy.

Both are lovely, but I think the second one would be more versatile since it can be more easily dressed up or down, IMHO.
