Chanel GHW or SHW

Do everyone tend to match the hardware of the purse to hardware of the SLG?
If they are both same hardware will they look too matchy matchy?
I'm torn.. they both look beautiful..

I like to match my hardwares! but my daily wallets often don't have hardware on them (right now I'm using a Bottega Veneta card case with no hardware, and my last rotated vintage Chanel snap card case didn't have any hardware logo other than the hidden snap, just a camellia design). I don't think matching hardwares is too matchy-matchy at all. But I think the main thing I do is I match the hardware color with whatever jewelry I'm wearing.

I don’t match hardware. Get the one that you like the most. If you like both equally then go with the one that matches

I prefer GHW whenever possible. But matching isn’t necessary.
