Hello! I just wanted to share my new purchase today on my new Chanel Flap Cardholder from the 23C collection in Calfskin metallic gold. 
This is my first metallic piece. Does anyone have any tips on what to watch out for? What are the cons? I was told by the SA I should not have issues with the finish being metallic if I am careful, however I have heard metallic finishes do not wear well.
Im not sure if things have changed or if it just depends on what leather is being used. It appears the flap will start to show creasing at the spine as I open and close the flap as the display card holder flap in the metallic gold did show creasing. The gold is pretty loud, but it's growing on me and I love the uniqueness. It has a slight shift of a copper pinkish hue depending on how it is positioned in the light. I would say overall it's a coppery gold, not a true bright gold (like from the Egyptian collection) but as you can see, in bright light (inside the boutique) the color appears to be more gold then copper.
I am very happy with my purchase. It holds my standard car key fob in the larger area along with 1 card, 2 cards in the front smaller pocket and 1 card in the back exterior pocket. It stretches a tad but it is very very little where the snap is not compromised and the shape isn't distorted at all. I love how this can be used as my grab and go if need be. I plan on ordering a conversion kit as well for the days when I want a little crossbody action. I wouldn't mind purchasing another in the extra large size.
