Chanel flap bag question

i'm new to chanel bags and came across this bag on ebay i like, but i have question about the dimention. is this a small or medium and since the strap is long is there a way to make it shoulder? thx

Dimension is 10" W x 5 1/2 " H x 1 1/2" D, 27 1/2" shoulder strap

I think this would be considered a "medium", but it doesn't hold a heck of a lot.
