Can someone tell me what type of gold is on the mini adjustable strap? I thought it was similar to the pearl crush but it looks different. I understand Chanel probably had to use a specific metal that was less prone to chipping or showing scratches since the chain is adjustable (which is sad I was hoping for lghw or shiny gold) but it looks kinda matte and brassy. Here's a side by side of the new mini adjustable and the pearl crush square (not my photos). The quilts are much larger in the adjustable mini since we know it's longer than the square.

they used aged gold/antique gold. Not my cup of tea, unfortunately.

I preordered the iridescent purple mini months back without seeing a swatch out of FOMO. When I saw a blurry swatch a month ago I wasn’t so sure cuz it didn’t look purple. Saw a better swatch today on ig and she called it iri gray instead of purple. I think I actually like it since I don’t have a gray bag. Omg guys, I’m so excited now :nuts::giggle:

I thought about the stopping resellers strategy as well. Honestly, I am glad Chanel is giving us more of what we love to keep in our collections. I would love to see more of the colors we all want in caviar though. So keep them coming chanel pls :yes: :heart:
Yeah I believe you are absolutely right… this will potentially stop the prices on the reselling market and give chance to us who wants to have a chance on these items and keep them. what i hope they will bring back is the mini caviar… the pink iridescent coco handle for 21k is absolutely beautiful but I really hope it was offered on mini caviar… Coco handles doesn’t sadly look good on my body frame but i want to get it still coz of it being caviar.
i am however looking forward on how the pink iridescent on the mini rectangular will look like.

TBH the luxury houses can only do so much to curb resellers that hoard these bags to sell at a premium.
The only way to stop resellers is when the customers refuse to pay up to $1K or more above retail for an already expensive bag.

:P:giggle::biggrin:
:love: Thank you
I personally prefer the small size. The small is extremely roomy, especially if you are used to the CF. Do you prefer big bags though?

I prefer the functionality of bigger bags but I prefer the aesthetic of smaller bags. :lol: Like I find my current medium 19 fits just what I need without sacrificing items, and my tweed small 19 is a wee cramped but also I can't tell if the roominess inside is accurate to what a leather small 19 would be like since the tweed one is quite thick and not as malleable.

I second that too. I have a small 19 in black and am getting another small 19 in caramel. Love the size and the look of the small. It goes from day to night with the chain tucked in. The medium 19 is about the same size as the jumbo cf. Here is the picture of the 19 medium and a jumbo cf side by side, my picture but not my purses. HTH

Oooh, thank you for this! Yeah, roominess-wise, a jumbo is my jam. Do you have any comparison photos of your small 19 and another relatively smaller-than-jumbo CF?
