Chanel Earrings Repair?

The "hardware" on the left side of the bow is missing. Does anyone know if Chanel could fix this?

I had an experience with a pair of Chanel earrings "breaking".
The first time I wore them the little metal piece that says 'Chanel Paris' that was glued to back of the earring came off. Took it back to the boutique and the SA there happily exchanged it for another pair with no questions asked.

I don't know if you can actually send earrings in for repair, but I don't think asking will hurt. Especially if the earrings are from a past season so Chanel doesn't actually carry them anymore.

OP, of course Chanel accepts earrings for repair. My SIL has had crystals replaced on her earrings at the boutique before. I don't know if they can repair that 'hardware' on your earring, but as Glam said, there's no harm asking. Check with your SA or local boutique.

Bumping this old thread~~

I have the same dilemma as Glam but I wanted to know even after half a year if the policy was the same. The "Chanel Paris" piece fell off and I cannot find it anywhere. Bought the earrings in the Oahu Waikiki store in '08/'09 I think. But now I am located in the east coast, would my local store still be able to fix it for me? I don't need a new pair like Glam was so lucky to get but just want it like it was~ I still have my receipt. And my usual SA is at NM.. they don't do this type of stuff right?

I once had the ear post fall off my earrings. Brought it to the local store. They had to sent it to Paris for repair. It came back repaired!

I have also had earrings repaired at the Chanel boutique. I wasn't charged anything for the repair.

A few of the Swarovski crystals form my studs fell off between 1 year and 2 years after I got them. The Chanel boutique in Tysons Galleria in Virginia graciously repaired my earrings, at no charge

I just dropped mine off and they estimated it would be $30 since I bought them almost 2 years ago. And she said if they cannot fix it they will offer to refund me the purchase price & tax because it is a discontinued item~ >_< I am thinking about just keeping it even if they can't fix it because it is just the id tag on the back~ no like it would affect how the ear rings look~

I did get lucky, especially since it was my mom who insisted that the earrings be taken in to the boutique for repair - I was convinced they either wouldn't repair it, or they would me charge an inordinate amount!

Hi all~ just an update! It has been 3 months since I have dropped off my ear rings for repair. And guess what? They said they cannot repair it, and cannot send the ear rings back to me. But will offer the updated version at a $5 difference.

I know the updated version is bigger, which I don't think my face can carry... since it's so *wow*... so I was thinking, should I just tell them I want the $ back? But I figured, since I already spent the $ to buy it 2 years ago.. having the updated ear rings would probably be better than having the $...

Any thoughts???

my post fell off and they said they couldn't glue it back on i'm so sad because they were my favourite pair...instead i'm stuck with a credit note because it was purchased early this year...let's hope there's something amazing this season to lift my spirits
