There are waitlist for some of the popular or most requested cruise collection bags. Perhaps not at Saks in NY but, I am personally on three lists in three states/stores. (NY, PA, VA)
I went to saks NYC today. They had only one cruise caviar jumbo. Apparently I am the next on the list to get one. We will see. My sa from Nordies said the same thing! I did end up coming home with the cruise patent red GST. it is stunning!
