Chanel classic WOC vs. boy WOC

Hi!

I am currently eyeing the Chanel WOC. I visited a boutique to see how my phone (I have an iPhone XS Max with a medium-thickness case with pop socket) would fit, and found that the bag was too small for my liking. However, recently I have been re-thinking it and perhaps I can make it work if I slimmed down to a card case, etc!

Does anyone have both the Boy WOC and how does it compare to the classic WOC? Is the size the same, so would it be able to hold the same amount? I LOVE the look of the Boy bag, and as this would be my first Chanel bag, perhaps I could spring for the Boy WOC. I would get the bag in caviar leather.

I've also stumbled upon this bag upon my research (Chanel quilted wallet with removable chain), but it seems even smaller than the classic WOC.

Do you have the new Boy woc with the leather shoulder strap and thick chain? If so how do you like the chain? I just received mine on Friday and I like it the look of it but I feel like it not as versatile like the leather/chain link.

I have both the boy black caviar with aged gold chain and shoulder strap woc and classic red caviar with silver hardware woc and they’re both the same size.
I also have a iPhone XS Max and it has a casetify impact case with a Ungrip loop. I don’t carry much but I have all my cards in the slot and cash in the zip area. I usually just have my phone in the bag and a tube chapstick and I attach my keys with a carabiner on the outside.

The classic is more versatile since you can hide the chain in the bag and turn it into a clutch and there’s also a card pouch in the back. The chain on the classic is easier to wear and the chain goes through the leather insert better.

The Boy woc I’ve only had it for 24 hours and it works similar but I’m used to carrying my main credit card and ID for easy access on the classic since it has the pouch in the back. Overall both bags carry the same amount and if you travel light it’s a really great bag

Also a few thread later shows someone with a double zip woc? And has a open slip inbetween both pouch that fits her iPhone 8plus and she included pictures.
