Chanel classic patent flap owners - question.

I just bought a pre price increase Chanel classic flap jumbo in patent. How does this hold up with daily use? It seems more delicate than the caviar? Any one feel they have to carry this bag as a little more fragile? Thanks for any input.

So far, no. I have been using mine on and off for a couple of weeks and it has been fine. I don't feel afraid with it. I think I'm more careful of my reissue.

I actually feel that they are quite tough. That is one of the reasons I like it so much! I have worn my red one quite a bit.

I've worn my every day for a week now. I'm very careful with all of my bags, (esp ones for this amount of money!!) but so far, so good! Enjoy it!

I have the jumbo black in the crackled patent leather. I bought it in early Dec and have used it ALOT. So far, not a single mark or scratch! I that bag.

That's good to hear. Did your handles "soften up" with use? They seem kind of stiff? compared to the pure leather?
