Hi all! Can anyone help? I'm a relative newbie to Chanel. I just got a caviar leather medium classic flap in beige Clair and noticed the flapping of the leather ends for the chainlink leather. Is this normal? My SA said, "The classics always have the extra stitching bc it shows how it's hand woven in. It is completely normal and its what most clients prefer to see bc it shows the craftsmanship of the piece." I've posted pics to show you..

It’s relatively normal but the ends do seem to be sticking out a lot more than on flaps I’ve owned and seen before. You can adjust the chain so that they are under the flap.

That is where the 2 pieces of the strap join. That is perfectly normal for all classics flaps. However I think your straps end could have been finished off neater to not look as much like it's popping up.

Thank you for your response. You think its just a quality flaws? Im planning to exchange it coz it doesn’t felt right.

My response was to the OP, on hers you can see the end popping up a bit. I don't really see anything wrong with yours, I don't understand what you mean by "doesn't feel right". But if it bothers you, It wouldn't hurt to see if you can check out another just to see if you find it better.
