Chanel caviar or snake?

Hi. I have the option of purchasing either the coco handle with snake skin handle or the regular one with caviar handle. I can't decide. I'm worried the snake skin handle may be too fragile and show wear easily. Would it be worth the extra $? Also, now that Chanel will no longer use exotic leather would the bag value go up in the future ?

No idea on the value but snake skin isn’t as delicate as some think. If the snake skin is the right combo for you, I’d go for that one.

The exotic handle Cocos are lined in leather which I prefer as it keeps the structure better compared to the regular handle ones with the cloth interior lining.

The lizard handle is more unique and you’re right that it will increase the bag’s resale value now that exotic skins are banned
